Reflective Leadership in Early Years Practice

A collaborative leadership session from West Northamptonshire Council and the East Midlands Stronger Practice Hub

Join us for a thoughtful and practical morning exploring reflective leadership in the early years sector. This session is designed to support leaders to strengthen self-evaluation, develop confident leadership practice, and create shared understanding across teams.

Together, we will explore:

• Understanding your local community and context
• Developing and embedding a shared vision
• Reflective leadership and self-evaluation
• Supporting teams to understand and communicate practice
• Using current tools and strategies to support continuous improvement

Rather than focusing on “inspection preparation”, this session will create space for leaders to reflect on their values, leadership approaches and the ways these are enacted across their settings.

The session will include opportunities for discussion, practical reflection activities and collaborative thinking with colleagues from across the sector.
