Our Initial Teacher Training (ITT) program is accredited by the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) which means our trainees benefits from engaging in training nationally from inspiring experienced colleagues across the county (delivered virtually), as well as local face to face delivery which deepens trainees knowledge and understanding.

At Pen Green, we offer Primary QTS with a 3-7 focus. As an Early Years Centre of excellence, we pride ourselves on going beyond the core content framework and delving deeply into theory and practice, ensuring out trainees have a thorough understanding of child development and enabling environments, which whether our teachers aspire to teach EYFS or Year 6, give them the crucial skills to support all children to meet their full potential.
