Busy Little Gardeners 🌻

Children can learn new skills, have a lots of fun, play and develop self-confidence by spending time in the garden looking after plants and growing their own food.

Most children enjoy being outdoors and love digging in the soil, getting dirty, discovering the world of little creatures, creating things and watching changes in their natural environment.

When out in the garden, children are absorbing the nature with all their senses: smell, sight, touch, hearing and taste.

For the last few months lots of children have enjoyed participating in gardening activities such as preparing our vegetable beds, sowing different plants inside and outside in our garden.

They enjoyed the whole process of looking after the plants but the watering proved to be most popular.

It was great to see children being so involved in gardening. Some of them were very passionate and committed and they kept checking the plants progress on a daily basis.

Many of the parents were telling me how excited they were and how the children loved sharing the garden adventure.
