Giraffe who couldn’t ask for more
Olivia I know animals are important to you. When I initially visited you at home you couldn’t wait to tell me all about the dogs in your family and how important they are to you. Today in nursery you joined me at the table where I had planned to provide opportunities for children to mix powder paints, exploring variations of colour. You tailored this to suit you best. You decided it was the perfect place to take great care of a Giraffe.
The paint pots provided water tubs and food containers that fed your Giraffe and the powder was a lovely place for your giraffe to explore and paint with his hoofs. You placed container on top of container so your giraffe could reach his food and water.
‘Is that okay for you?’ you asked the Giraffe, stroking his back. How lovely Olivia. You are caring and kind and you demonstrate a keenness to take care of and consider others feelings and needs. You looked up and smiled at me across the table. ‘You are kind’ I tell you smiling. You smile back, ‘I know I am.’
