Sometimes you may have a specific question, challenge or area of practice where some individual support would be helpful. Through the Pen Green Early Years Stronger Practice Hub, early years settings and childminders across our Hub area can request fully funded bespoke advice and support.
You can make a request via email using the link below, telling us a little about your setting and the support you are looking for. Once we receive your request, a member of the Hub team will review it and match you with the person best placed to help, based on their knowledge, skills and area of expertise.
We aim to make initial contact within five working days. Your allocated practitioner will work with you to understand your priorities, explore what is already working well and identify practical next steps. Depending on your needs, this might involve a conversation with a specialist, signposting to relevant resources or professional development, or further support from the Hub.
The Pen Green Early Years Stronger Practice Hub works in partnership with Acorn Early Years Foundation, Holbourn House Day Nursery & Pre-school and Katie Britton Childminder, bringing together a breadth of early years experience and expertise from across our Hub area.
Our support is relational, evidence-informed and responsive to local need. We can support with a wide range of areas across the Early Years Foundation Stage, including communication and language, SEND and inclusion, personal, social and emotional development, early literacy and mathematics, leadership, reflective practice and the learning environment.
If you are not sure what support you need, that’s absolutely fine. Tell us what is happening in your setting and we can help you identify the most appropriate support available.
