What You'll Learn

This CACHE Level 3 Award will enable you to:

  • Understand and apply EYFS safeguarding and welfare requirements for under-2s
  • Provide holistic, high-quality care that supports attachment, emotional wellbeing, and brain development
  • Create responsive, inclusive environments and build warm, attuned relationships
  • Recognise and respond to schematic play and developmental cues
  • Collaborate with families and professionals to meet individual needs

Course Format

  • Duration: 60 hours total (40 guided learning hours) over 16 weeks

  • Teaching Dates: September 2026

  • Assessment: Portfolio of evidence, professional discussion and witness testimony

  • Delivery: Induction, four webinars, tutorials and professional discussion

  • Eligibility: Practitioners and volunteers working directly with babies (birth to 2 years)

  • Cost: £275, and this includes the registration fee with CACHE, OneFile and your certificate. A payment plan can be set up to spread the cost
