Launching a New Baby Room Network
Supporting those working with babies across all settings – including nurseries, childminders and local authorities

Following the success of our recent webinar “How Local Authorities and Nurseries Can Work Together to Improve Quality in the Baby Room”, we are excited to launch a new regional Baby Room Network.

This network is open to all those working with babies – including childminders, nursery staff, and early years professionals in local authorities. Together, we will:

• Share best practice rooted in current baby room research

• Explore the impact of the new government policy enabling parents to access funded early education for 9-month-olds

• Discuss the unique opportunities and challenges this presents for different settings, particularly for childminders working with under-ones

• Collaborate on ways to raise the professional image of those passionate about working with our youngest children

As the early years sector prepares for this significant policy change, it’s more important than ever to ensure high-quality, research-informed practice in baby rooms and home-based settings.
