Baby Room Network: Planning for Children’s Learning
In our next Baby Room Network, we’ll be focusing on planning — thinking about how we plan for children’s learning in ways that are meaningful, responsive and rooted in relationships.
We’ll explore what it means to start with the child — tuning into their interests, motivations and ways of being — and how this can shape child-led approaches to planning. Together, we’ll reflect on how everyday moments, interactions and observations can inform thoughtful, flexible planning that supports babies’ learning and development.
This session will provide space to share practice, discuss approaches, and consider how planning can remain dynamic, responsive and truly centred on the child.
