Pen Green Centre for children and their families

The Nook is a purpose built crèche space providing sessional care for children aged 12 weeks to five years.

We provide crèche sessions every morning and afternoon to support families attending our extensive groupwork programme. This provision is also used to support families requiring respite childcare.

The room has a small area sectioned off with a sleep basket and books. This can be used as a quiet area to enable babies and toddlers to have a rest or sleep.

Within the crèche we have a kitchen area, bathroom, and garden. As is the case in nursery, each area is set up in a workshop style environment, allowing the children the independence to choose the resources they want to play with.
