Pen Green Centre for children and their families

The Beach is a shared area situated in the middle of the children’s centre. Children from the Den can play with children from crèche, or with families attending a drop-in group.

In the Discovery Area children can use the resources to learn about the properties of water. They can explore and manipulate the flow of the water, extending their knowledge of concepts such as rippling, pouring, floating and sinking.
