DESCRIPTION:Understanding Schemas and Emotion in Early Childhood’ presents the 6 year groundbreaking PhD study of a small number of children\, following a ‘hunch’ that schemas sometimes reflect emotions metaphorically. The whole journey undertaken by families\, nursery staff and the researcher (me) is described. I also reflect on my own experiences following the death of my sister\, who was aged 17\, and my family’s move to Corby when I was 8.
